Florida Keys, Islamorada, Bridge Schedule Changes

M&J Construction Company of Pinellas County, contracted by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is authorized to temporarily deviate from the drawbridge operation regulation 33 CFR 117.331 that governs the Snake Creek (US1 / SR5) Bridge across Snake Creek, mile 0.1, at Islamorada, Florida.

Under this temporary deviation, the Snake Creek Bridge may remain closed to navigation from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., except with openings at 10:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday’s, from July 13, 2019 through September 9, 2019. Public vessels of the United States and vessels in distress may be delayed up to one hour in order to remove construction personnel and equipment from the bridge. At all other times the bridge will operate in accordance with its regular operating schedule, 33 CFR 117.331.
