WATER LEVEL INFORMATION/CHANNEL CONDITION – UPDATE
The U.S. Coast Guard is unable to service aids to navigation on the Chattahoochee River between Walter F. George and George W. Andrews Locks and Dams. The U.S. Coast Guard is reporting multiple buoys missing between Mile 75.0 and Mile 46.5. The U.S. Coast Guard is reporting shoaling on the Chattahoochee River, below George W. Andrews Lock and Dam and between Mile 2.0 through Mile 5.0. Mariners are urged to exercise extreme caution when transiting the Chattahoochee and Apalachicola Rivers, as the aids to navigation may be missing, submerged, or not reliable. U.S. Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Team Eufaula will continue servicing aids as weather and river conditions allow.
