The Port of Kingston currently has 265 permanent mooring stalls ranging between 24 and 60 feet in length. The wait list for all permanent moorage ranges from 2 to 10 years. To be placed on the wait list you must complete the necessary application and pay a one-time non-refundable fee of $100.00 to initially be added on a list and an annual $25.00 fee every year after to stay on the wait list. Water, wi-fi, electronic access, and 30-amp power are available. Electricity is invoiced at $.097 per kilowatt-hour. As of January 2023, open permanent moorage rates range from $9.79 to $12.60 per foot plus Leasehold Tax of 12.84%. Covered permanent moorage rates range from $15.30 to $16.35 per a foot plus the Leasehold tax. All tenants are required to provide the Port office with proof of liability insurance prior to executing a moorage agreement. Liveaboard and subleases are no longer offered at the Port of Kingston.Guests are encouraged to call and reserve a slip on our guest dock a head of time, with a $10.00 non-refundable reservation fee to hold the slip. As of January 2023, during peak season (May 1-Sep 30) guest moorage is $1.50 per foot and off peak (Oct 1- Apr 30) is $1.45 per foot. There are currently 49 Guest slips.Transient moorage of 4 hours or less have a fee of $10 for vessels 25/ft and under and $15.00 for vessels 26/ft and over. All guest must check-in at the Port office upon arrive. It is also encouraged to call before arriving to request a slip for a temporary stay.
