Machodoc Creek Marina is a 64 slip marina with deep water access to the Potomac River on the Upper Machodoc Creek in Historic King George County, Virginia. We are a full service, family oriented marina. Of our 64 slips, 8 are covered. We are located just one mile off the Potomac River in King George County VA, just south of the 301/Harry Nice Bridge. We have Non-Ethanol fuel available. Our public boat ramp is always open and is close to some of the Potomac River's best fishing. Daily rate or season pass is available. The marina was formerly operated as Dahlgren Marine Works and is still carried on some chart books under its former name. Dahlgren Marine Center purchased the marina in July of 2005. Our marina is the former home of Elizabeth Quesenberry. This historic home was the first Virginia home visited by John Wilkes Booth after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.
