Hoppies Marine at Kimmswick. This is the last place to tie up with power and water until Kentucky Lake. Hoppies is right on the Mississippi River, it is a famous place to stop among boaters goings down the river. On the Mississippi, the places a pleasure boat can stop are few and far between. This is the last dock for us for the next 150 miles. Hoppies Marine is a series of 4 barges tied together and with one anchor in the river.á
