Fayette State Park is located between Escanaba and Manistique, off of US 2. Take Delta County Road 183 south from US-2 for 16 miles to Fayette. Fayette is on Lake Michigan. A boat launching site, located between the campground and picnic area was recently improved so pleasure boats have better access to Big Bay de Noc. Parking is provided for vehicles with trailers. The protected waters of Snail Shell Harbor are deep enough for larger yachts and pleasure craft.
