It provides safe harbor for overnight stays with all the conveniences necessary to serve recreational boaters. The marina provides shore power, freshwater, and pump-out/dump-out stations with a Marina Master to facilitate mooring, access to utilities, and general information for the traveler.Fuel service, both diesel, and gasoline are located a short distance from the Marina on the GIWW. Restaurants, shops, banking facilities, legal services, emergency, and extended care medical services, churches, museums, and tourist information are located in historic downtown Houma, all within easy walking distance of the Marina, and public transit service is available during the week.The Downtown Marina's landscaped park offers a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the scenic and busy GIWW.
