Ballard Mill Marina is located a quarter mile above the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks and before the Ballard Bridge, on the north shore of fresh water Salmon Bay. The town of Ballard has a disntictive Scandinavian feel, reflecting the heritage of those who originally settled the area. Today it hosts an electic mix of artists, mill workers and fishermen.
